About this Role
Are you an experienced Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or sales professional looking for a role where you can genuinely grow a territory? As an Area Sales Manager with Dawsongroup EMC, you will drive profitable growth across a regional territory, developing new and existing customer relationships across municipal, waste, recycling, utilities, industrial and infrastructure markets.
Identify and secure short and long term rental opportunities through networking, tenders, market intelligence, site surveys and direct prospecting.
Build trusted relationships with decision makers across local authorities, commercial operators and contractors.
Maintain a strong pipeline, following up enquiries, tenders and opportunities to maximise conversion.
Work closely with sales, branch and operational teams to maximise fleet utilisation and customer satisfaction.
About You
You will be commercially focused, driven by winning business and comfortable managing a territory with a high degree of autonomy. If you do not match every requirement, do not assume this role is not for you, we value transferable sales experience, potential and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
Experience in field sales, business development, territory management or strategic account management.
A track record of delivering against sales targets, KPIs and commercial growth objectives.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills, with confidence engaging customers face to face.
Excellent organisation and pipeline management skills, with a proactive approach to managing multiple opportunities.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across your designated region.
