HSDC is seeking to appoint a proactive and highly motivated Partnership Coordinator to support the development, management and growth of our Adult Skills Fund (ASF) provision through strategic external partnerships.

This is a key role focused on working with stakeholders such as the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), referral agencies, and employers to ensure strong learner recruitment pipelines and full utilisation of funded provision.

The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact for partners, coordinating the learner journey from referral through to enrolment and progression, while contributing to income generation and performance targets across Adult Learning provision.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with DWP offices, referral agencies and employers
  • Acting as the main point of contact for external stakeholders and representing the College at networking events
  • Driving learner recruitment to ensure full utilisation of ASF allocations
  • Coordinating the full learner journey from referral through to enrolment and progression
  • Delivering high-quality careers information, advice and guidance (CIAG) to individuals and groups
  • Supporting job search activity and employability provision through job shop delivery
  • Working with curriculum teams to align provision with local demand and partner needs
  • Supporting the development of Sector Work-Based Academy Programmes (SWAPs) and other funded initiatives
  • Monitoring performance against funding and recruitment targets and contributing to income forecasting
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting using College systems and databases
  • Supporting quality assurance processes including retention, achievement and progression tracking.

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience of working in partnership, employer engagement, or stakeholder-facing roles
  • Strong communication, networking and relationship management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities and manage competing priorities
  • Experience supporting recruitment, engagement, or customer pipelines
  • Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Understanding of safeguarding, equality and diversity in an education or training context
  • Ability to travel across sites and to external partner locations

 Desirable

  • Experience working within Further Education, Adult Learning, or funded provision (ASF)
  • Knowledge of the DWP and referral partner landscape
  • Experience delivering CIAG or employability support
  • Understanding of funding methodologies and performance targets in FE
  • Experience in business development or income-generating roles
