About this Role
Are you an experienced Key Business Manager, Contract Manager, Commercial Manager or Project Manager looking for your next challenge within Energy Solutions? In this role, you will manage the full contract lifecycle, from tender review and negotiation through to mobilisation, delivery, variation management and close-out, helping ensure contracts are commercially sound, compliant and delivered to agreed expectations.
Manage end-to-end contracts, including tender review, drafting, negotiation, mobilisation, administration, variations and close-out.
Identify Sole Supplier and Framework opportunities ahead of tender submissions and ensure tender invitations are received through relevant commercial portals.
Review and negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring obligations, risks, deliverables and payment terms are clearly understood.
Identify and manage commercial, legal, operational and delivery risks, escalating issues where appropriate.
Work closely with project, operational, finance, procurement and legal teams to support profitable and compliant contract delivery.
About You
You will bring experience in contract, commercial, project management, procurement, construction, engineering, facilities management or a related environment, alongside the confidence to work with a broad range of stakeholders. You will be commercially aware, organised and comfortable interpreting contractual information, managing risk and finding practical solutions when priorities compete.
Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial risk, negotiation, change control and supplier or subcontractor management.
Able to interpret and explain contracts, scopes of work, specifications, commercial schedules and service agreements.
Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and senior stakeholders.
Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, priorities and accurate records.
Comfortable working with budgets, margins, forecasts, invoices and wider commercial performance.
