Here’s the facts about the role:

We're looking for a Risk & Assurance Analyst to join our Strategy, Planning and Corporate Development team and play a key role in supporting our risk, assurance and compliance activities across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing information, identifying emerging risks and helping to ensure VIVID remain compliant, resilient and well governed. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll contribute to the ongoing development of our risk management framework, support governance activities and help embed a positive risk-aware culture across the organisation.

In this varied role, you'll coordinate risk reviews with managers and stakeholders, helping to identify and assess risks, review controls and monitor mitigating actions. The role also involves horizon scanning for emerging risks, regulatory developments and sector changes, maintaining risk and issues logs, and producing insightful reports for senior leaders, the Executive Team, Audit & Risk Committee and Board. In addition, you'll help ensure organisational policies remain up to date, coordinate responses to external consultations and support business continuity planning and testing activities across the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a governance, risk, assurance, compliance or internal audit environment, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practical experience supporting risk reviews, maintaining risk registers and producing risk reporting. You'll bring excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex information, identify themes and draw meaningful conclusions. We're looking for someone with strong written and verbal communication skills who can build effective relationships across the organisation, manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines. You’ll also have an understanding of the social housing sector, including current challenges, emerging issues and the wider operating environment.

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation where you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise, contribute to meaningful improvements and help shape a positive risk-aware culture. If you're organised, proactive and passionate about risk management, good governance and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

Interviews are due to take place WC 28 Sept (subject to change).
