This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced part time Payroll and Pensions Manager to join Sulis Hospital’s HR team, working alongside five other permanent members of the team.

The Payroll and Pensions Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a high quality, efficient, and fully co payroll and pensions service for Sulis Hospital supporting a workforce of 550+ including our bank staff.

Reporting to the Associate Director of HR, the Payroll and Pensions Manager will work closely within a highly experienced HR team, as the payroll and pensions expert, delegating workload to the team as and when appropriate.

The Payroll and Pensions Manager will also work closely with the Associate Director of Finance and the Finance team.

If you have a professional payroll certification e.g. CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) or equivalent with proven previous extensive payroll and pensions management experience, with a strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, national insurance and statutory reporting then we would like to hear from you.

PERM Part Time 12 hours a week on average – requirement to be flexible around payroll and pensions submission dates.

Our HR team works a hybrid model of part office and part home working. To begin with you will be office based but, as you gain experience, you will be able to work some of your time from home. Given this, whilst you will always receive regular support and guidance from your HR colleagues, you will be comfortably working autonomously, using your own initiative to prioritise and complete a variable and high-volume workload whilst maintaining accuracy. If you are comfortable with this style of working and have excellent communication and organisational skills, we would love to hear from you.

Applications will be assessed and responded to as they are received. We reserve the right to bring forward the closing date if sufficient applications are received.
