The vacancy
We’re looking for an experienced IT Workflow Developer based in one of our offices. Regular travel to other office locations may be required. Having access to personal transport is beneficial but not essential.
You will play a key role in identifying, designing, developing, and supporting automated business processes that enhance efficiency, improve user experience, and drive digital transformation across the firm. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will analyse existing processes, gather requirements, and deliver innovative workflow and automation solutions using modern technologies and platforms.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of workflow development, from initial consultation and solution design through to testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support, involving integrating systems, managing data flows, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure reliable and effective solutions.
Throughout each project, you will maintain ownership of deliverables, act as the key liaison between business users and technical teams. You will provide regular updates, manage priorities effectively, and ensure solutions are delivered to a high standard, meeting both operational and strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will be passionate about leveraging technology to streamline business processes and deliver measurable value to the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Workflow & Systems Engineering
Data, Automation & Integration
Continually review and optimise existing workflows and integrations.
Governance, Quality & Operational Excellence
Ensure all developments comply with change management and release processes.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation.
Participate in root cause analysis and problem resolution activities.
Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and compliant with regulatory and firm standards.
Risk, Security & Compliance
Design solutions that protect confidential and sensitive information.
Apply secure development practices and maintain audit-ready records.
Support business continuity and disaster recovery considerations for critical systems.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, information security policies, and legal sector best practices.
