Background

At Golding, we're more than a housing provider, we're creating great homes, strong communities and outstanding customer experiences.

Our Corporate Plan 2026–2030 sets out ambitious plans to deliver excellent services, invest in our homes and communities, and continue building a brilliant place to work where our people can thrive.

Following our recent G1, C1 regulatory grading, we're building on strong foundations and looking for talented people who share our passion for making a difference.

We're now looking for an OPAL Advisor to join our Neighbourhood team within our Customer Experience Directorate. If you're passionate about supporting customers, solving problems and creating thriving neighbourhoods, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

As an OPAL Advisor, you'll help customers live safely, independently and successfully in their homes.

You'll manage a varied neighbourhood and tenancy sustainment caseload, supporting customers with tenancy matters, anti-social behaviour, safeguarding concerns and wellbeing. Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies, you'll build strong relationships, carry out estate inspections and home visits, and take proactive action to achieve positive outcomes for customers.

This is a varied, rewarding role where no two days are the same, and where you'll make a genuine difference to people's lives every day.

More about you. What can you bring?

You'll have experience in housing, neighbourhood management or tenancy sustainment, with a good understanding of housing legislation and supporting customers with a range of needs.

You'll be confident managing complex cases, building positive relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies. Organised, resilient and customer-focused, you'll enjoy solving problems and delivering great outcomes.

A full driving licence and a Basic DBS check are required for this role.

When and where you'll be doing it

This is a full-time, 37-hour-per-week role with a salary of circa £33,000 per annum.

Our Hub, Home, Roam approach gives you the flexibility to work where you're most effective, while staying connected with colleagues at our modern Maidstone head office and maximising visibility out in the communities you support.

What you'll get in return

We know that when our people thrive, our customers benefit too. That's why we offer a competitive salary and a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, development and work-life balance.

You'll enjoy:

  • 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

  • Wellbeing days, volunteering days and Christmas closure

  • Generous pension contribution and life assurance

  • Flexible benefits including a health cash plan, holiday purchase scheme, cycle to work, onsite gym, retail discounts and more.
