The Vacancy
The Private Patient Service Coordinator will be responsible for the administration support and support the development of the Private Patient Service delivered by Sulis Hospital on behalf of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
Working in partnership with clinical, operational, and corporate teams across both organisations, the post holder will ensure the effective delivery, growth, and governance of private patient activity within the RUH. The role will oversee the end-to-end private patient pathway including referral management, booking, patient experience, billing, and reporting.
The post holder will support the Private Patient / PPU Lead in the primary operational interface between Sulis Hospital and the RUH for all private patient activity, supporting implementation of robust processes, national standards are adhered to and supporting the pathways for service development and income growth, which may be identified by the programme.
The role will also support maintaining established relationships with consultants, medical insurers, referrers and other stakeholder to support the sustainable growth of private patient activity while ensuring alignment with NHS priorities and policies.
PERM - Full time 37.5 hours
