We’re looking for a detail-focused Compliance Data Officer to join our team in Portsmouth. This is a key role supporting the delivery of accurate, reliable compliance data, helping us achieve 100% compliance and audit readiness.

 

This is a full-time permanent role working 37 hours per week. We offer a flexible approach to working between home and the office, with a minimum of 20% of this to be office based to promote collaboration and team working.

Here’s the facts about the role: 

As a Compliance Data Officer, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining and improving the quality and integrity of our compliance data. You’ll be responsible for extracting, analysing, and updating data within IPC, ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and aligned with regulatory standards. 

 

You’ll play a key role in maintaining high-quality compliance data, ensuring our records are accurate, up to date, and audit ready at all times. You’ll support a range of data-related activities including large-scale data cleansing exercises, property re-categorisation, managing exception reports, monitoring and resolving triple report issues, and maintaining asset and new build data through systems such as IPC. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining 100% compliance, with a strong focus on data integrity and continuous improvement across all compliance areas. 

 

You’ll also support performance monitoring by helping to produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance scorecards, alongside generating both standard and ad hoc reports through systems such as IPC, BI dashboards, and Master Query. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll help ensure we have accurate, reliable data on our housing stock, while contributing to key projects and driving positive change. You’ll be someone who acts quickly to resolve issues, champions improvement, and upholds high standards in equality, diversity, and health & safety, helping foster a culture of excellence across the organisation. 

   

To succeed in this role, you’ll have experience working with databases and developing reports, dashboards, and scorecards, as well as a proven ability to collate, analyse, and present complex data clearly and accurately, with excellent attention to detail. Advanced Excel and strong IT skills are essential, alongside the ability to quickly learn new systems and confidently handle large data sets. 

 

Your ability to work well under pressure and keen eye for detail will be your key to success in this role. You’ll be a strong communicator who’s confident to build good working relationships with internal and external customers.
