St Gemma’s Hospice is one of the leading charitable hospices in the UK. The Hospice provides expert palliative and end of life care, in a quality environment, for thousands of local people each year.
We are looking for a Hospitality Supervisor to oversee our Hospitality Assistants and help provide a high-quality food and beverage service to patients, visitors, and staff across our hospice. We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading teams.
In this varied role, you will supervise and support the hospitality team, manage rotas and staffing requirements, oversee training and compliance, monitor performance and attendance, and ensure excellent service standards are maintained throughout the wards and bistro. You will also work closely with clinical and facilities teams to ensure patient dietary needs are communicated and managed safely.
The successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience within hospitality, catering, healthcare, or a customer service environment, along with strong organisational, communication, and people management skills.

St Gemma’s Hospice is an independent Leeds-based charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK, providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients, families and carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team, and at our Out-Patients.
We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown, Retail Hub in Bramley, a large chain of charity shops, and out in the community.
