Salary: NJC Grade D £26,824 - £28,598 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Monday to Friday)

Roundswell Community Primary Academy is seeking to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and motivated playworker to lead the breakfast club for our children. As a member of the Harbour Schools Partnership, we are committed to collaboration, innovation and excellence.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Creating a fun and engaging activity programme
  • Directing the work of the play assistants
  • Supervising children during breakfast club
  • Encouraging healthy eating and positive social interaction
  • Ensuring the play spaces remain clean and safe
  • Promoting good behaviour and a caring atmosphere
  • Supporting children to complete their homework
  • Work alongside our admin team to promote the club, and coordinate bookings and billing

Full training will be provided including paediatric first aid.
