At MotoNovo Finance, we’re on a journey to continuously improve how we make credit decisions; balancing commercial ambition with fair, responsible outcomes for our customers.  As a Credit Analyst in our Acquisition team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we assess applications, optimise strategies, and enhance the end-to-end customer journey.

 

What will your day look like?

This is a hands-on, insight-led role where your analysis will directly influence lending decisions and business performance. You’ll be:

  • Analysing acquisition performance – analysing front-end application data, KPIs and conversion insights to identify trends and assess performance of acquisition strategies
  • Optimising credit strategies – refining policies, cut-offs and decision frameworks to support profitable, responsible growth
  • Improving automation – enhancing automated underwriting and reducing manual intervention through smarter use of scorecards and affordability tools
  • Driving decision quality – ensuring we balance risk, customer outcomes and commercial objectives in every decision
  • Collaborating across the business – working closely with modelling, underwriting, pricing and risk teams to deliver aligned, data-driven strategies

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and confident turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. You’ll bring:

  • Experience in credit risk or analytical roles, with a strong understanding of credit scoring and decisioning
  • Strong data and analytical capability (SAS, SQL, or similar tools)
  • Ability to translate technical insight into clear business recommendations
  • A collaborative mindset - someone who enjoys working cross-functionally to solve problems
  • A passion for continuous improvement and better customer outcomes
  • Bonus if you have experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau.
