Palliative Care Nurse – 37.5 hours per week

Starting salary £29,691 per annum with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding up to £35,637 per annum.

You will be excited to learn new clinical skills to actively support ongoing service development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and participate in delivery of holistic patient centred care
  • Assess and evaluate individual care plans for the patient and their family taking in to account their diverse needs
  • Assess and manage patient’s symptoms with support from wider team
  • Provide professional leadership and support colleagues to achieve their objectives
  • Ensure patients and their families experience is professional, welcoming, relaxed and friendly

What we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of complex symptom management
  • Understanding of Specialist Palliative Care Philosophy and End of Life care strategy
  • Previous work in a hospice or relevant experience
  • Advanced communication skills
  • NMC Adult Nurse
