The Vacancy

Palliative Care Nurse – 37.5 hours per week

Starting salary £29,691 per annum with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding up to £35,637 per annum.

You will be excited to learn new clinical skills to actively support ongoing service development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and participate in delivery of holistic patient centred care
Assess and evaluate individual care plans for the patient and their family taking in to account their diverse needs
Assess and manage patient’s symptoms with support from wider team
Provide professional leadership and support colleagues to achieve their objectives
Ensure patients and their families experience is professional, welcoming, relaxed and friendly

What we’re looking for:

Knowledge of complex symptom management
Understanding of Specialist Palliative Care Philosophy and End of Life care strategy
Previous work in a hospice or relevant experience
Advanced communication skills
NMC Adult Nurse
