Our established team of 22 staff currently supports four individuals, and we are now looking for an experienced, confident and solution‑focused Senior Support Worker to join our friendly team.

This role is suited to candidates with at least 2 years’ experience supporting people within mental health or complex services who are ready to step into a senior role.

The Role

  • Acting as a role model and promoting best practice across the team
  • Supporting induction and development of new, bank and agency staff
  • Providing day‑to‑day guidance and acting as a first point of contact for staff queries
  • Supporting staff through supervision, observation and development activities

Quality, compliance and service delivery:

  • Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Promoting and maintaining health and safety standards within the service
  • Overseeing medication processes, records and reporting systems
  • Supporting reviews, reporting and continuous improvement

Supporting the management team:

  • Assisting with rota management, staffing cover and absence support
  • Supporting service reviews, support plans and outcome tracking
  • Working with families, professionals and external agencies
