The UK Sports Institute have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Developer

A snapshot of the role…

You will join a dynamic agile development team at the heart of the UK’s high-performance sport system. We design and deliver innovative software solutions that support elite athletes, coaches, and practitioners across Olympic and Paralympic sports.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a suite of applications, including the Performance Data Management System (PDMS), an application for capturing and managing athlete health and wellbeing information (e.g. medical records, psychology, nutrition, performance lifestyle and physiology) to meet the needs of all UK Sport funded performance programmes.

You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to development, deployment, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and is excited by the opportunity to serve the needs of elite sport through impactful, user-focused software.

This position plays a key role in developing new features, integrating systems, and shaping new products that drive performance insights and operational excellence.
