We are looking for 2 HE Quality Assurance Co-ordinators to join us at DN Colleges

Working across our college sites.

Roles are Permanent and full time at 35.5 hours per week

Salary is £33,787 - £42,766

 

Must be proactive and detail‑focused to support and enhance the quality of our Higher Education provision. Working within a central Quality Assurance team, you will play a key role in assuring academic standards, strengthening student outcomes, and ensuring compliance with external regulatory and awarding body requirements.

These are varied roles that suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively across curriculum teams, understands the higher education quality landscape, and is motivated by improving the student experience within a local, community‑focused education provider.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support core Higher Education quality processes, including Boards of Examiners, annual monitoring and internal reviews.
  • Manage and support student-related processes such as mitigation, academic misconduct and appeals, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Lead on the collection, analysis and reporting of the student voice, including internal surveys and national surveys where applicable.
  • Liaise with External Examiners and partner institutions to ensure requirements are met and actions are followed through.
  • Maintain clear, accurate quality records and a Higher Education quality calendar, supporting readiness for audit and review.
  • Work with curriculum and quality colleagues to share good practice and support continuous improvement activity.

Essential criteria

  • A degree (or equivalent) and evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Experience of quality assurance processes within Higher Education or a comparable education setting.
  • Working knowledge of the UK Higher Education regulatory and quality environment (for example OfS and QAA).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
