DN Colleges Group are seeking to appoint a Pyschosexual Therapy Subject Specialist Lecturer to work at University Campus Doncaster (UCDon) to assume responsibility for teaching and the provision of personal academic support to students on the MSc Pyschosexual Therapy programme. This role requires the successful candidate to be flexible as there is teaching over a weekend. Ideally the candidate would be accredited by COSRAT or be willing to work towards accreditation.

 All staff are required to participate fully in the appropriate university subject-based committees and examination boards, liaise with external examiners and implement the quality assurance and enhancement processes effectively.

 

Actual Salary: £13,324.45 - £16,865.46 per annum

Working Pattern: 14 hours a week 


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning on the MSc Psychosexual Therapy programme in line with HE quality assurance requirements
  • Provide personal academic support and act as an Academic Advocate for allocated students
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, programme development and annual reporting
  • Participate in HE committees, assessment boards and liaison with external examiners
  • Support student recruitment, induction and engagement activities, including promotional events
  • Engage in scholarly activity and continuing professional development to maintain subject expertise

Essential Criteria

  • A degree in Counselling and a postgraduate qualification in Psychosexual Therapy
  • Extensive professional experience working therapeutically with individuals and couples
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current HE academic standards and quality requirements
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends

Accreditation with COSRAT (or willingness to work towards it) is highly desirable and fully supported.
