The vacancy
About the role:

Our donors are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to join our team and help us build genuine, lasting connections with our supporters.

You will be the primary point of contact for our supporters, providing the high-level care, advice, and encouragement that inspires them to champion our cause. You will provide essential administrative support, ensuring every donation is processed accurately and every supporter receives the high-quality care they deserve. You will also play a vital role in engaging with local community groups and businesses to representing Porchlight at events and cheque presentations.
Working closely with the wider Fundraising and Communications teams, you will act as a spokesperson for our mission, turning enthusiasm into action. Whether you are delivering a compelling talk to a local school, supporting our network of volunteers, or managing donor records on our CRM database, your work will directly empower our supporters to help us change lives.
The role requires:
Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week. 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility required
