In this role, you’ll carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing fixtures, including sinks, baths, WC suites, and cisterns. You’ll diagnose and fix leaks, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Liaising with customers, planning materials, and keeping accurate records will be key parts of your role. You’ll also supervise Apprentices, support their development, and ensure they work safely and effectively.

The role involves working at heights, in confined spaces, and participating in an out-of-hours emergency rota. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a company vehicle, keeping stock levels up to date, and following health and safety regulations.

To be successful, you’ll need an NVQ in Plumbing or an equivalent apprenticeship / substantial previous experience in domestic plumbing, ideally in social housing. A  full UK manual driving licence and your own plumbing tools are essential. You should be confident using power tools, working to deadlines, and handling IT-based job management systems.

A good working knowledge of NHF SOR codes would be an advantage.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your plumbing career, we’d love to hear from you!
