This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

CRP Subsea are looking for a QC Inspector to join our QC Inspection Team and support with the overall CRP Quality and risk management strategy.

What will you do as our QC Inspector:

  • Providing a comprehensive QC Goods Inward inspection service to ensure that all standards related to quality are achieved and meet the requirements of the Purchase Order. 
  • Monitoring of critical test equipment to ensure we have a critical test equipment response plan.
  • Support the QC Supervisor in any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.
  • With the assistance of the QC Supervisor, prioritise incoming components for inspection based on the business needs. 
  • Carrying out inspection of the incoming products, either at CRP’s premises or the suppliers. 
  • Ensuring that the status and control on non-conforming products is in accordance with relevant procedures and drawings and the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP). 
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of inspection findings at all times and reporting all and every deviation to the relevant person. 
  • Raising Supplier NCRs where appropriate. 
  • Creating Critical Equipment Response Plan to ensure coordinated response to critical equipment failure.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.

  • Ensure excellent service delivery through operational excellence. With: 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, 
  • Intermediate computer skills, 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  
  • HS Qualification, or equivalent, level in a manufacturing, engineering or sciences discipline
  • Proven track record within a fast pace, demanding manufacturing environment 
  • Involvement in change initiatives and projects with a view to continual improvement 
  • Building strong relationships and working as part of a team
