West Country Tool Company Ltd are a technical competence center of the Rubix UK II cutting and machining division, and a market-leading specialist of CNC cutting tools and associated products.

Since 1974, WCT has evolved to become a unique technical cutting tool supplier to the UK engineering and manufacturing industries. We provide a comprehensive range of metal cutting tooling and associated products.

Powered by Rubix UK II, Europe’s largest industrial distributor TGM, MRO and specialist products, WCT can now utilize the most trusted single source of industrial supplies with their national network of branches, national distribution center and Product proving center.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our branch and support all departments of the business, where & when required. You’ll be a pivotal part of the team supporting our customers to ensure they have all the parts, tooling and support they need to operate.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively deal with customer enquiries via phone & email, from RFQ requests through to order placement and completion
  • Supporting our external technical Engineering / sales team, liaising with customers & suppliers, and offering administrative support.
  • Liaise between manufacturing product partners & customers to efficiently answer general questions concerning lead times, deliveries, and pricing.
  • ·Maximize sales and opportunities through value added products & service to all incoming and outgoing customer engagement.
  • Purchase order placement and progressing
  • Return of products to suppliers
  • Delivery note filing and maintenance.

 

 

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate for our Customer Service Advisor position will have the following.
  • Experience of a customer service / sales office environment
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office packages
  • Team player – strong team skills and the ability to interact well with colleagues & customers.
  • A solution-based approach to our customer’s requirements
  • A high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude
