Due to the nature of the role having a full UK driving licence is essential.

 

The Wilf Ward Family Trust has been improving the lives of people with learning and physical disabilities since 1986. Luckily for you we have fantastic opportunities to join us as a Support Worker in Harrogate & Knaresborough.

 

You will be part of a friendly, motivated team, committed to making a difference and providing high-quality support to our amazing individuals. The individuals we support are absolutely at the heart of everything we do. The support is entirely person-centred and to ensure we can achieve this, our shift patterns include days, evenings, & weekends.

 

This role encompasses a range of tasks dependent on the individual’s needs. Day-to-day duties can include:

  • Accompanying individuals to appointments and community activities
  • Assisting with mobility and personal care
  • Supporting individuals with household tasks
  • Assisting with meal preparation and medication management

 

And most importantly, putting a smile on someone’s face!

 

We have a fantastic training programme that will give you the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role. What we do need, is someone with a desire and passion for helping others, empathy, a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
